Ursula Walentynowicz/Valentinovich

Before she ever spoke a line on screen, Ursula Walentynowicz was already fluent in movement and image. Rooted in dance and visual arts — including an early stint with Walt Disney Productions on Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie — she trained acting across London before crossing the Atlantic to study Method under Tony Greco, mentor to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Her credits span Netflix, Canal+ and the BBC — including Matki Pingwinów, An!ela, Return, MI5 and The Old Guard — as well as Off-Broadway and the Gene Frankel Theatre in New York. A Polish native fluent in English, she brings a distinctly international sensibility to every role.

Having returned to the written word through screenwriting, Ursula has completed the circle — a fully formed artist working in front and behind the camera across film, TV, advertising, fashion and music videos. Her short MANHOLE won the REMI Award at WorldFest Houston and Best Original Screenplay Pitch at Raindance Film Festival, London.
