Timotej Kresnik

My name is Timotej Kresnik, and I have been acting for ten years in both theatre and film projects. The success in these projects is directly related to my long and devoted training under various acting teachers and mentors in Slovenia, such as the Khaos Acting Academy, Studio Brata Vajevec, Dramatikon, and many other inspiring individuals.

The play Ivanov, in which I play the main character, received two awards (best play overall, best play according to the audience) at the international theatre festival Zlatni Lav in Umag. I am also a member of the Šentjakob Theatre in Ljubljana.

I have a degree in cultural studies and like to read non-fiction historical books and fictional books made up of fascinating characters which spike my curiosity. I want to travel more as a part of my acting career. I also do sports such as running, trail running, basketball, and strength training. My fitness allows me to perform stunts and, in general, handle physically demanding work.

Acting is my deepest love in this world. That is why I am committed to pouring my effort into every project that comes my way, and overall, I appreciate and encourage a team-first mentality on stage and on set.
