I am a student at the Puppetry Department of the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Wrocław. I began my studies on October 1, 2022, and since then I have been continuously facing the challenges and joys that come with practicing both acting and puppetry.
Recently, together with my team and director Marta Streker, we prepared our diploma performance “Pelne przebiegi”, in which I play the role of Wiktor – an overbearing head chef hiding a dark secret buried in the corners of the hotel basement.
Thanks to the specific nature of training at the Puppetry Department, teamwork is one of my strengths. Numerous group animations of scenic forms have made me sensitive to my partner on stage and taught me precise collaboration.
At the same time, the demanding pace of classes and the large number of subjects often pushed me toward independent rehearsals, which developed my sense of responsibility for a role and my ability to work outside the shared creative process.
What drives me most is the desire to grow. What fascinates me in theatre is the moment when I watch another actor’s performance and think: “I would like to act like that someday.” This feeling motivates me to continually improve and broaden my skills. I regularly participate in various workshops, including a Meisner technique course and classes with acting coach Anna Skorupa.
Privately, I am interested in history, and in my free time I train boxing.
