I was born on 21st June 1963 in Białystok.
I graduated from the Academy of Theatrical Arts in Kraków in 1987
and I started working as an actor of Narodowy Stary Teatr (the National Old Theatre) in Kraków in September of that year, where I have been working until today.
I have worked with such great directors as Andrzej Wajda, Jerzy Jarocki, Tadeusz Bradecki Rudolf Zioło, Filip Bajon, Marek Fiedor, Andreas Wirth, Jerzy Stuhr.
As an actor I took part in many productions of National Old Theatre:
"Kaspar" by Peter Handke directed by Andreas Wirth; "The Wedding Party" by Stanisław Wyspiański directed by Andrzej Wajda; "The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui" by Bertolt Brecht directed by Tadeusz Bradecki;
"The Manuscript Found in Saragossa" by Jan Potocki directed by Tadeusz Bradecki; "The Dybbuk" by Szymon An-ski directed by Andrzej Wajda; "Faust" by Johan Wolfgang Goethe directed by Jerzy Jarocki; "The Operetta" by Witold Gombrowicz directed by Tadeusz Bradecki and many others...
I was awarded a special prize of the Director of National Old Theatre for the role of Dancer-killer in "The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui" by Bertolt Brecht, directed by Tadeusz Bradecki.
I also received very good reviews from the International Jury during the official press conference for the role of Fior - Kopyrda in a production of "The Operetta" by W. Gombrowicz, directed by T. Bradecki, awarded the Grand Prix of the International Theatrical Festival - Mes' 97 in Sarajevo.
