Dominika Wiatrowska

Actress fluent in Polish and English, and a dancer trained in street dance, commercial and contemporary. Apart from regularly performing in the University of Cambridge theatre productions, she has been gaining professional acting and voiceover experience in Poland, where she recently voiced the part of Jayla in the Polish dubbing version of two Barbie series, among other projects. In November 2022 she was selected to take part in the Marlowe Society Showcase as the first ever Polish actor. The Marlowe Showcase is a collection of monologues delivered by 14 of Cambridge University’s best graduating actors directed by Imy Wyatt Corner at the Jermyn Street Theatre in London. The alumni include notable figures in the film, theatre, and television industry such as Sir Derek Jacobi, Sir Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Hollander and Emma Corrin. After the performance in London she was very pleased to find out that Sue Odell, one of the casting directors who was in the audience, singled her out by making a post on her Twitter account in which she said Dominika is “one to watch”.

Knowledge of foraign languages: while Polish is her native language, she speaks English fluently. She also has a basic proficiency in German and Rusyn.
