About me

Diego Pileggi - director, actor and theatre pedagogue. Founder and artistic director of the international theatre company Jubilo Foundation. He holds an MA in Acting from MMU Manchester (2011) and a BA in Communication Sciences from the University of Milan (2007). He deepened his training by meeting masters of the calibre of Marcello Magni, Eugenio Barba, Compagnia Abbondanza/Bertoni, Chiara Michelini, Roberta Carreri, Iben Nagel Rasmussen, Danio Manfredini. His approach is rooted in physical theatre and the theatrical process, with a specific interest in body/voice techniques and the psychophysical training of the actor. From 2012 to 2022, he is a collaborator and artistic resident at the Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw. As an actor, he participated in productions directed by, among others, Castellucci (BROS), Krystian Lupa (The process), Gabriel Gawin (Bulgakov's table).
