Anaëlle Roy

About me

My name is Anaëlle Roy, I am 19 years old and come from Berlin. I am currently living in Marseille, France, for my voluntary social year in the socio-cultural sector. I grew up speaking three languages: German, French and Polish. I am a native speaker of these three languages and have an advanced level of English.

I started acting when I was 15: first in the improvisational theatre group LIBER in Berlin and later in two school musicals. I then became a member of the youth ensemble at the Volksbühne Berlin (P14) and performed in two plays. Throughout my childhood, I danced (ballet) and took piano lessons for three years. Nowadays, I enjoy contemporary dance, freestyle and variations of breaking.

I am generally very athletic: I jog, swim, snowboard and go to the gym regularly. I was also a member of a fencing club for three years.

In addition to acting, I spend my free time doing artistic pursuits: drawing, painting, pottery, sewing, singing, knitting, crocheting...

I am looking forward to broadening my acting horizons!
