Aly Tutaj

Aly was born in Sosnowiec, Poland, but spent most of her life in the port town of Hafnarfjörður, Iceland. 
She discovered a passion for storytelling at an early age and graduated from a drama oriented high school. During that time, she wrote and directed her first play, “Við Erum Geimskip”, which went on to be selected as one of five pieces to be performed at Ungleikur, part of a festival for young artists in 2017. 
She’s currently based in Berlin, where she recently completed her bachelor’s in screen acting at Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology. 
With a background in writing, theater and audibly gasping whenever the sky turns pink, Aly’s drawn to chaotic characters, satirical dialogue and slasher films.
